At the exhibition venue, the GAPC-Pakistan delegation met a number of delegations and discussed with them professional and trade relations between Pakistan and Italy. The GAPC-Pakistan team held talks with Ms Stefania Fin, organizer of the Fair and presented her a souvenir. She expressed satisfaction over the working relations between the Vicenza Fair association and the GAPC-Pakistan. The visit of the GAPC-Pakistan will open new avenues in the relations of two countries and develop trade ties at the association level.

The Vicenzaoro Autumn Fair exceeded expectations and closed positively: the percentage growth over the same show in 2006 in the operators who came to Viale dell'Oreficeria in recent days was 13.5 percent. The Italian operators numbered 10,544 (+8.14 percent) and the foreigners 5,587. The latter came from 102 countries and recorded a 25.1 percent increase compared with last year. At the top places of operators were Spain, Germany, Greece, Belgium and France.

The Fair President, Dino Menarin, described these figures as "an encouraging signal for Vicenza Fair's new course and a stimulus for continuing to improve the quality of our services and our commercial proposals. Such a brilliant result includes the first signs of market recovery which I had already sensed and have been indicating for several months, as well as the massive promotional initiatives to confirm our position, among which I would like to mention shows, conventions and new electronic accesses”.

Vicenza Fair was established on February 20, 1948 when the Commune, the Provincial Administration and the Provincial Tourist Board drew up the articles of incorporation of Vicenza's national trade fair. Gaetano Marzotto was named first Chairman of the body and Giacomo Rumor Vice-Chairman. Today, the Fair Chairman is Valentino Ziche. The Executive Director is Corrado Facco.
