Decrease in Gold Prices

 

LAHORE: Keeping in pace with the declining prices of international gold market and decrease in the market value of gold, the prices of gold tezabi (10-gram) in Pakistan witnessed a decrease by Rs 386 in the local gold markets amidst fresh buying on Wednesday trading session. The prices of silver remained stable.

The price of 24-karat pure gold decreased by Rs 386 and closed at Rs 15,903 per 10-gram while 22-karat also showed the same trend and settled at Rs 14,578 per 10-gram in the local gold markets and the 21 karat closed at Rs 13,915 per 10-gram.

Declining trend was seen in the international markets the prices of gold decreased by $28.2 per ounce as the mid-day rates closed at $795.40 per ounce. The price of silver remained stable as the price of 24-karat silver closed at Rs 258 per 10-gram. Similarly, the rate of 22-karat (thobi) silver also settled at Rs 255 per 10-gram.
