ICCI demands genuine representation in jewellery company
ISLAMABAD (April 14, 2007): Nasir Khan, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has said that the government should give representation to the genuine people in the trade company formed for the promotion and development of jewellery industry.
While talking to a delegation of Gold Art Promotion Council-Pakistan (GAPC), led by its President Muhammad Ahmad and including Anwar Bajwa, Masood Ali Mahmud and Ijaz Tufail, Nasir Khan said that various companies formed for the promotion of different sector are already provided with funds. Therefore, it is expected that quick results will be achieved through this and this would lead the jewellery industry to its peak. Nasir Khan assured his full cooperation to the GAPC team for the development of the jewellery industry.
On this occasion, Munawwar Mughal, Chairman the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and President of Jewellers Association Islamabad said that the government has constituted a company for the promotion of the jewellery sector, which will lead this industry to its goal.
